		<description><![CDATA[The Organization is actively associated with Bihar Voluntary Coordinating Agency (BVCA) which is recognized by Govt. of India under the National level program of child adoption. The organization has applied to CARA (Delhi) for financial support to run a Shishu Grih (Home For Children) to promote in country-adoption. JJKK is working a as a placement Agency of BVCA. The Secretary of the Organization has also working as a Chairman of Child Welfare Committee,Muzaffarpur till last year. This AdoptionWeek is organised by Jeevan Jyoti with aims to raise awareness of adoption and encourage potential parents to come forward. There are many children across the India needing adoption every year,many ofwhomwill have suffered trauma in their short lives. On this special week Mr. Mukesh Kumar &#38; Mr. Niraj Kumar from JJKK meet to Dr. Baidhnath (C. Surgeon , Sadar Hospital, Muzaffarpur) and Dr. G. K. Thakur (Sup. S.K.M.C.H., Muz.) and tell him about the Adoption Week. They seen the adoption poster and allow to fix it in the Hospital campus.]]></description>

It is Registered under Societies Registration act 21, 1860, having Registration No.- 475/90-91. JJKK is specifically involve inmicrofinanceand livelihoods. JJKK starts his journey from the vocational training programme provided to the women &#38; girls near by the organization for laising themto livelihood activities for income generation. At present the organization provides small loans to the SHGs/JLGs member for income generationactivities. JJKK is to work with rural and urban poor women, who are speacilly disadvantage and economically exploited. It belives in polistic development of excluded community. The SHGs provide savings mechanisms, which suit the needs of the members. In a group like this, the members get an opportunity to express themselves openly and freely. These groups also enable the members to learn to cooperate and work in a group environment and provide a cost effective delivery mechanism for small credit to themembers.]]></description>
