JJKK is related to the groups which ismostly involve in the production of their product. The famous product of the groups are Bangle (Lahthi), Papad, Bari, Pickles and Sattu. And the other are involve in Vegetable Vending, Fruits Vending, Fish Vending, Glossary Shop etc. (Cumulative) : The ‘rich’ need credit and the ‘poor’ also need credit. The difference lies in the fact that the rich require larger amount of credit and the poor require lesser amount of money. People living in poverty, like everyone else, need a diverse range of financial services to run their businesses, build assets, smooth consumption and manage risks. Under the microfinance system of delivery, Financial services for poor people has proved to be a powerful instrument that can reduce poverty, enabling them to build assets, increase incomes, and reduce their vulnerability to economic stress.
Microfinance was initiated as a social business. As the focus of the microfinance institutions are the poor, the direct benefit is to the so called un-bankable of the society. At the same time the low cost operations ensure that the entire business is financially sustainable. The small financial services that are provide to the clients by the JJKK enable them to increase their income by growing their businesses, savings, etc. The loan products of the JJKK is to suit the needs of the poor. JJKK focus that the members have a source of fund that is at a lower cost than the exorbitant cost that they would have to incur if they had to borrow from a moneylender. This availability of low cost funds, encourage members to invest in their business, is our target. JJKK finance for Income generation activities like Bangle Making, Paper Making, Bari Making, Sweet Making, Tea & Snacks Making, Cutting & Tailoring of Cloth etc. as a Micro Loan to SHG/JLG beneficiaries, Average loan Size min. 8000/- and max. 12000/- per member. Before disbursement of loan, we provide group training with grading method.
Rickshaw Sangh Programe
JJKK will provide loans for rickshaw pullers under a slightly different model. On basis of experience, women are more reliable audience for providing micro-finance, so, JJKK will made small groups consisting of 10 women beneficiaries. Under this model, JJKK will provide loans to wives of rickshaw pullers. The re-payment is collected on a weekly basis for a year. JJKK also provide Identity card, uniform, social security like insurance with the help of facility provider.
The Organization is actively associated with Bihar Voluntary Coordinating Agency (BVCA) which is recognized by Govt. of India under the National level program of child adoption. The organization has applied to CARA (Delhi) for financial support to run a Shishu Grih (Home For Children) to promote in country-adoption. JJKK is working a as a placement Agency of BVCA. The Secretary of the Organization has also working as a Chairman of Child Welfare Committee,Muzaffarpur still now.
